2G mobile data service in J&K to continue till Mar 26 | KNO

Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Tuesday decided to extend the 2G mobile data service in the Union Territory till next eight days. According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a government order under number Home-20(TSTS) of 2020, dated 17-03-2020,issued by Principal Secretary to the government, Shaleen Kabra, reads that the restrictions contained under government order number 17(TSTS) of 2020, dated 04-03-2020 shall continue till March 26, 2020. This decision as per the order has been taken in the interest of sovereignty and integrity of India, the security KFC the State and maintaining public order. The order has been issued after considering the overall security scenario and the reports of the law enforcement agencies—(KNO)
